Today marked a radiant new chapter for Arcadia’s art scene as Pletcher’s on Monroe officially opened its doors—and what a spectacular turnout it was! From the moment the ribbon was cut, the gallery buzzed with energy, curiosity, and heartfelt connection. Locals, artists, collectors, and curious wanderers filled the space, drawn in by the vibrant mix of contemporary art, upcycled design, and the spirit of community that defines Pletcher’s.

Guests mingled among handcrafted jewelry, evocative wildlife photography, and whimsical mixed media pieces, each display telling its own story. Laughter echoed, conversations sparked, and more than a few pieces found their forever homes. The gallery’s playful, imaginative displays—many crafted from repurposed materials—were a hit, proving that sustainability and creativity make a powerful pair.

When we began this venture, we had no idea how much love we would find in the community that now surrounds and supports our little art gallery. We look forward to continuing our mission to support local artists in a safe space right here in downtown Arcadia.
