Vintage Maple Drop Leaf Side Table - Repaired and Painted

This charming side table is a coastal dream with a clever twist. Originally a vintage maple drop-leaf, it’s been lovingly restored, structurally reinforced, and given new life with hand-painted blue accents and a whimsical seagull motif. Beneath its surface lies a rotating mechanism—A unique handmade turning device (original to the table) which allows the table to rotate in order to hold the sides up.
The seagull—painted mid-flight—brings movement and serenity. The feather carefully placed to hide minor flaws in the aged piece. Whether used as a side table, plant stand, or conversation piece, it’s a functional work of art.
